The Beal BACK UP LINE 5mm is a compact aramid/nylon accessory cord for use as a backup line for single-rope rappels or as a rescue line for crevasse rescue, with a rough sheath for easy grip and control. It offers minimal stretch and a high strength-to-weight ratio at 21 g/m and 1,200 kg resistance.
