Am’D

The Petzl Am'D is a lightweight asymmetrical D-shaped aluminum locking carabiner designed for connecting devices such as descenders and positioning lanyards. The D shape positions the load on the major axis (spine) for greater strength, and the Keylock system and H-section cross-section make it easy to handle even with gloves. It is available with manual SCREW-LOCK or automatic BALL-LOCK and TRIACT-LOCK gates, and is compatible with the optional CAPTIV positioning bar to favor major-axis loading.
